Our Values

Word-Confidence & Gospel-Centrality

God is good and trustworthy. The Bible is God speaking, so we can trust it.

We are committed to teaching and preaching the Bible expositionally – saying what it says.

The entire Bible points to Jesus.

Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose again in our place and for our sake. This is the gospel.

The gospel alone is the power of God unto salvation, therefore we seek to proclaim the gospel in all we do.

Holy Spirit & Prayer Dependence

The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, leads to repentance, and regenerates the spirit.

The Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Bible, empowers its teachers/preachers, and illuminates its hearers.

The Holy Spirit empowers us to walk obediently to God and produces the Fruit of the Spirit in us.

Therefore, we are wholly dependent upon the Holy Spirit for every aspect of the Christian life.

While the Bible is God’s most clear way of communicating with us, prayer is our way of communicating with Him.

The purpose of prayer is to know and love God.

One of God’s greatest means of advancing His kingdom and maturing the believer is prayer.

Joy & Awe in Worship

Our purpose as human beings is to ‘glorify God and enjoy Him forever.’

We are committed to weekly coporate worship as a church and daily personal worship.

We desire for our coporate worship to be marked by a sense of awe and joy in God’s holy presence.

Generous Neighboring

The Second Greatest Commandment is to, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” A ‘neighbor’ is anyone God gives us the opportunity to love.

We seek to obey this command first by loving our literal neighbors – inviting them into our homes, to our tables, and into our lives.

We desire for this love to extend to those in physical or spiritual need – all the way to the unreached peoples of the world.

Personal & Multiplying Disciple-Making

The Great Commission given to us by Jesus is to, “Go and make disciples of all nations.”

We believe this Commission is for every follower of Jesus.

Therefore, we seek to make disciples corporately, in small groups, and one-on-one.

We believe that multiplying disciple-making is God’s plan for reaching all peoples with the gospel.

We believe

There is one and only one living and true God, who reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man.

Human beings are the special creation of God, made in His own image, yet they have rebelled against God and become sinners. Eternal life and salvation from sin are given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. This is the gospel, the good news of Jesus.

The church includes all of the redeemed of all the ages, and is expressed visibly in local congregations of believers. Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth; the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all people in righteousness. Those who have not placed their faith in Jesus will be separated from God forever, and those who have trusted in the gospel will receive their reward and will dwell forever in the New Creation with the Lord.
